I've also lost my Windows 10 installation since formatting the drive with Disk Utility before installing MacOS, but unless I need that, I'm not concerned about it since I have another laptop I use for Windows. I'm don't know if that is related to the problem I'm having though. I was able to keep the display clear was by enabling "Launch CSM" in the BIOS, but from what I've read about BIOS for Opencore, its recommended to disable CSM. This was simply the 17.3 64-bit Cinnamon version off the main download page. The first issue I encountered was a garbled display shortly after the Apple logo with the loading bar under it. I installed Linux Mint on my laptop this week. I've verified the file structure of my USB stick multiple times, but one thing I am unsure about are the BIOS settings. The issue I'm having is after installing MacOS, when my computer reboots, it only shows my USB stick and will only bring me back to the MacOS installer again and again. Additionally, you can choose Operating System to see the drivers that will be compatible with your OS. I've been trying to install Catalina rather than Big Sur since I don't find Big Sur currently available on gibMacOS or macrecovery.py. ![]() I haven't had success trying multiple times with these guides: Booting The USB Installer Using OpenCore | and OpenCore Install Guide ().
